Organization for Rural Women's Development Association for Progress (ORWDAP)
Rg No: SW/GP/02/98/221
Founded in 1990 by a group of women in Buea, ORWDAP’s mission and vision is to see that women in rural areas are empowered so that they can continue to be strong active members of the community.
ORWDAP has a developed a series of innovative projects which strive towards this objective, with a focus on basic human rights; healthcare, education and employment.
MOMA-GO, Buea’s and Cameroon’s first minibus service that facilitates ACCESSIBLE healthcare for pregnant women and new mothers by safely transporting them to and from clinics for antenatal and post-natal visits.
We have managed to raise some of the funds to keep the MomaGo in motion! However, we still need some support from the community to kickstart the project. By donating to our project, you will be ensuring the following:
- REDUCING MATERNAL DEATHS
- REDUCING NEWBORN DEATHS
- IMPROVING HEALTH FACILITIES
- MORE GIRLS IN SCHOOLS
